About Us

Leisure Disco Decor began in 2023 when Emily and Tim were invited to create a downtempo stage for Subsonic Music & Arts Festival. Along with an incredible team of volunteers, they created a double tent 30m x 12m full of rugs, couches, armchairs, tables and cushions in a unique sensory experience. The space oozed with sensuality, with new friends fanning each other, old friends giving each other post-dancefloor massages and sultry dancers in the front grooving to RnB, Hip-Hop, Baleric and other world sounds. 

Within a couple of months, Roots Women’s Festival 2024 invited Emily to decorate a 21m x 9m Indian Wedding tent called the “Womb Temple” that was transformed into a haven for expression and growth thanks to the incredible facilitators and the decor that enabled the women to feel safe and held to transform. 

Since then, we’ve had the pleasure of decorating chill out zones for:
Mardi Gras parties, Warehouse parties, Festivals, Retreats, Workshops, Monthly sound baths, Cabaret and magic shows, Picnics, Baby showers, Wakes, Backyard concerts.

“We believe that the most profound moments at any celebration whether it be a wedding, festival, party or picnic, happen when your guests are most relaxed, happy and comfortable.”
